CYAFDD-63 Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters (AFCI, also known as AFDD arc fault detector) technology is a new circuit protection product. Its main function is to detect and identify dangerous ground arc faults, parallel arc faults and series arc faults, and promptly drive the device that disconnects the current to avoid electrical fires. When an arc fault occurs, due to the small current intensity, which is lower than the set value of the overcurrent protection widely installed in the power system, especially in the low-voltage distribution field, installing an AFCI arc fault circuit breaker at the distribution line terminal can detect the arc in time and cut off the circuit, effectively reducing the loss caused by the arc.
AFDD arc fault circuit breaker is an intelligent circuit protector with an integrated design of MCB and RCCB. It can detect and identify arc faults and arcs in normal operation in the line. Prevent fire hazards caused by arc faults such as poor contact and poor insulation in electrical lines. It integrates arc fault protection, overload protection, short circuit protection, overvoltage protection, surge suppression, and leakage protection.
AFCI arc fault circuit breakers and AFDD arc fault detectors are mainly installed in the distribution box of the terminal distribution system. They can also be installed in various control points such as homes, offices, various large supermarkets, department stores, hospitals, airports, textile factories, warehouses, oil depots, refineries, entertainment venues, hotels, oil pipelines, etc. They can be installed and used in any place where electricity is used. They are widely used in electrical fire prevention.
